Dan Dawson’s Wine Advisor: Review - Post & Vine 2019 Contra Costa Carignane

The 120 year old vines that produce the Carignane for Post & Vine make a dark plummy, blackberry, darker strawberry fruited red. The non-fruit flavors are robust: cocoa, anise, black pepper, mint and black olive. This medium-bodied, soft, juicy/spicy red is super-pleasurable and doesn’t ask you to think hard about it.
